what a weekend

Wow! What a weekend. My family celebrated my dad’s birthday, some of us guys went to Guitar Center in the city and I got a dog!

I’m Back…

Hello again, to all my friends! I’m glad you came to play. Our fun and learning never ends…here’s what I did today!

Hey, guys! (If anynody chances to stumble over to my wee little blog after a whole summer and fall of no posts, that is!) I hope everyone is sitting in warmth (preferrably with cocoa) on this cold day in December.

rock concert

Hey, everybody!  I’ve been meaning to get on here for so long…there’s been so many things I wanted to write about.  Oh well…here I am now!  : P

 I went to a Christian rock concert last night with three of my sibs and some friends.  My dad and another dad (of two of the girls that came) also joined us.  I think they might have enjoyed it more than we did! : D  LOL

It was supposed to be a Hawk Nelson concert, but they also had two other bands with them (Run Kid Run and Capital Lights).  Hawk Nelson was pretty cool, but the other two bands were not, I’m sorry to say.  Actually, though, it was hard to enjoy even Hawk Nelson because for all of the bands the voices were too low or the instruments too high.  I’m not sure which, all I know is it was hard to hear any of the words.  Is this normal for a rock concert?  I don’t really go to that many, so I wasn’t sure…

But, despite that, we had a blast.  It was a lot of fun just hanging out together.  The Braum’s icecream afterward was also really good (maybe the best part! : D)  

I’m working on a Flickr page so I can post pics from the concert (thanx Chris R. for the some of the best from the nite!).  I will definitely let you all know when that gets up.  Should be tomorrow…
