I’m Back…

Hello again, to all my friends! I’m glad you came to play. Our fun and learning never ends…here’s what I did today!

Hey, guys! (If anybody chances to stumble over to my wee little blog after a whole summer and fall of no posts, that is!)  I hope everyone is sitting in warmth (preferably with cocoa) on this cold day in December.  It is cold, anyways, in OK, and I heard that some towns in Southern Cal have had snow…so it must be cold everywhere, right?  I mean, Cali with snow? 

I have really missed blogging, but I have been pretty busy for the last several months!  I wasn’t even sure I wanted to blog anymore…but it’s a good way to keep the pen sharpened between stories/articles/books.  BTW, I am working on a new book, but am having trouble with a couple of the stories I started.  Yes, it’s another collection of short stories.  This time, I picked young love/true love as the genre.  Some of the stories have turned out great and I am really pleased, but this one is really aggravating me.  It’s a modern re-telling of Pride and Prejudice with conservative homeschoolers as the main characters.  Everything was great, until I tried to get my “Darcey” and “Elizabeth” (I gave them other names) together.  They refuse to come together in a suitable way.  It has come out rather cheesy, and I just want to start over with them!  Oh well…we shall see!

I must say that WordPress has certainly done some changes with the dashboard–I like it!  It’s easier to make posts and stuff now.  It makes me think that I need to do some updating on my site’s look.  Oh…who said they could get rid of the audio player?  Anyone got suggestions on how to give my blog background music?
